Basic Computer Troubleshooting

Today your going to learn how to troubleshoot your computer. First you need to identify what is the cause of the problem before doing moves.
The topics I'm going to discuss are the following:

  • Won't Start
  • Blue Screen
  • Frozen
  •  Network Problems
During boot-up you're operating system won't start. Don't panic, relax... We need to figure out what causes the problem. Now, check the BIOS(Basic Input Output System) go to the Boot order and check if your hard disk is in the boot order. If it's not in the boot order, try to remove the SATA connector from it's port and connect it again. It may be a lost contact. If it still won't start and no errors try to interrupt it with f8 or safe mode. Try to check what may the cause of the problem, if safe mode will start then it may be a software problem that prevent your Operating System to load.

Now let's talk about Blue Screen with "Contact your administrator". Still don't panic, try to restart it if the blue screen will not solve during restart try to remove the memory and connect it again, it maybe a lost contact to memory. If it won't solve use f8 or safe mode.

Frozen - use cntrl + alt + del using task manager try to end the application that cause the frozen. It it won't work restart you're computer and it will restore during Operating System Boot.
